This place truly deserves 0 stars. I don’t know how it’s still open. My grandfather is a newer resident there. I’ve called to speak with the social worker multiple times over the last three weeks and haven’t received a phone call back. APS has also reached out to the social worker and has yet to receive any response. I finally was able to speak with the admin and he said the social worker would be reaching out - it’s been almost three days and still no word. My grandfather’s hair was so matted that the knots had to be cut out. The nursing staff said that they “weren’t allowed to help with grooming.” No one can answer even the most basic question. It took more than three weeks for them to add me to his contact list. Each time I’ve been, his room is absolutely filthy. He’s visibly malnourished. This week he was covered in urine and so was his bedding. The staff helped him to the restroom but left his urine soaked bedding and gown on and set him right back in the bed. I’ve worked in the social work field for almost a decade across the tri-state and this is hands down one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Do not send your loved ones here.

WARNING: DON’T PUT YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IN THIS FACILITY!!! If I could this place a 0, I would and they would truly deserve it. This facility and organization has a high turnover of staff from the top to the bottom. The administration knows nothing about the residents that stay there and are only concerned about payments from insurance. They don’t answer the phone and do not return calls. Some of the nurses have nasty attitudes. Most of the staff seems unqualified in their positions or they are temp or contracted. The Communicare organization has a history of below average care from every level and have abuse charges that have never been removed. Be careful putting your family members in a place like this. Do your research and read all of these poor reviews.

I have been here for 5 weeks now and I have had nothing but good experiences here. I''ve made friends also. Besides being a little bit short handed, I''d recommend sending your loved ones here. I have 8 days left till I go home and I will miss the friends I''ve made
They do not care about their residents at all, I wouldn’t trust just about anyone in this place. I’m just sorry that my grandma spent so many years here. If you can avoid this place do it at all costs!!!!
