My mother arrived with knee replacement surgery. She was left alone for over two hours with no water, or bath-rooming assistance. She was asked why she cant just use a bed pan when she asked for a potty chair. She can barely bend her knee must less raise her body up with it. Nurse just walked off without offering any help. The room has no towels or anything.
Read moreMy sister has been in Ponce after being very ill and hospitalized from pneumonia and other issues. The therapist have been wonderful and worked with her diligently. She is stronger than she has been in a long time. Thank you Ponce staff and therapists .
It''s horrible you ask question no one seem to know the answers you really see a doctor the employee are loud my friend laid in diaper all day without being change. Very disturbing
Not the place for memory care - never was & when my mother''s dementia had progressed to behaviors they weren''t equipped to handle, I was told she would be moved to another facility. I was led to believe I''d be able to approve the facility & that wasn''t the case.
We avoided this place at first based on the reviews. Sent my mother to two other rehab centers before we came back to The Ponce because the other places were not really well run and we''re far away. We avoided this place at first based on the reviews. Sent my mother to two other rehab centers before we came back to The Ponce because the other places were not really well run and we''re far away. My mother has been at The Ponce for a week now. I do not understand these bad reviews. The staff have been super nice and accommodating. Management has been super helpful. What do I know about long term Medicaid forms. Zip. They are helping me navigate this process. Place is super clean equipment is all new. Doesn''t smell. And staff are attentive. No one has stolen her cell phone charger like they did in another place. Visitation is easy. There seems to be enough staff to cover patient needs. And everyone has been super accommodating.....granted no place is perfect, but I can recommend The Ponce for longer term care need for your family member. These people have a super hard job to do. And they are doing a good one as far as I am concerned. Thank you.
