Silver Creek staff knows every resident by name and does a great job of creating a true community feel which is so important to the overall wellbeing of the residents. I always enjoy my visits to Silver Creek! (And their lunch is delicious!)

DON''T WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING AT MEMORY CARE! My mom needed to transfer from another memory care facility that she has been at for over a year because we are moving. Nearly 2 weeks from the time we paid the community fee, we get the results of her assessment. They did not accept my mom into memory care and gave no explanation. (Maybe this is a blessing after reading the one-star reviews posted here.) My mom is a small woman in a wheelchair. She is a one-person transfer. She is incontinent. She has Lewy Body dementia and Parkinson''s (managed well with medication). She needs help with everything but eating. She is a typical memory care resident but better in some ways. She loves bingo and going to church services. She can still use a phone (one for people with dementia with programmed numbers). She is social, content, cooperative, and happy. We are one of the lucky ones. She is not angry, combative, or exit-seeking. I have inquired several times asking for an explanation of why they decided to deny care for my mom and have still gotten no response. I was told to contact the executive director so I have been leaving voicemails for him. This wasted valuable time in our search for a new home for my mom. Furthermore, they do not allow security cameras in the rooms at Silver Creek. We toured 6 facilities total in the St Augustine area, and this one was the only one that did not allow cameras. Every other facility allows video (but not audio) as long as a sign is posted. Having a camera is a helpful tool for families. This concerned me. Look elsewhere!!

Terrible care & zero accountability! My mother and I found my father numerous times neglected & tried our best to be understanding. The final straw was finding him lying directly on mattress springs with no mattress, no blanket & his sheet wrapped around his neck. My father isn’t mobile so we know he was placed there by a “caregiver”. We also know for a fact he was in this condition for over two hours. PLEASE go elsewhere!!!! Don’t let the amazing tour sway you into thinking this is a good choice for your loved ones…. It’s NOT!!
