I liked Holiday Pearl Crossing very much. I came after hours and spoke with the maintenance man who gave me some help. The person I should have talked to and had a tour with was not there. The maintenance man was just a very nice and helpful man. I thought the facility was clean everywhere and very well kept up. I saw a couple of rooms and they were large. The 2-bedroom apartment had an irregular shape to it that I liked. They weren't just one square after another square. The closet size was large. I liked the view. I liked the fact that you could go outside and walk around and see a wooded area. It was beautiful. I was there 2 or 3 times and each time, I met very nice people.

I didn't like anything about Holiday Pearl Crossing. It smelled bad and it was dirty. They had invited us for lunch, and then they said that they had forgotten they invited us. They were rude. One person who lived there was telling us nice things about the place, and they told her to be quiet. The apartments were nice, spacious, and light. They said that there was a laundry on each floor, but only one worked. So, you would have to go to that one. The apartments they showed us were on the second and third floor, so you'd have to go downstairs and they didn't know when those were going to be fixed. The carpets were filthy. When we got off the elevator on the third floor, it smelled like urine.

They have a big dining room, a pool table, a library, and a place where you can go and work out. They play cards and different games. The staff was very nice. She had a cast, and it was hard for her to get around, but she showed me around. I like the hallways, which are big and lit up well. The food was very good. It was a full-course meal. You have a choice of a couple different entrees, and they give you dessert. The facility was clean.
