Ive had to assist seniors on several occasions find a residential community, and on more than one occasion I’ve gotten a thankful phone call of appreciation after recommending a tour of Parkside! They do great things over there for their community!
They have a very family like atmosphere amongst staff and residents making it as much like home as possible. Staff works very hard to make it an all round pleasant experience for their residents.

We moved my mom in to Parkside assisted living from St. Louis,where she had also lived in an assisted living facility, approximately 1 year ago. My siblings and I have seen a vast improvement in her overall mood and are amazed at how she is thriving. She tells me often how much she loves living there. She is content, happy, kept safe and so well cared for. It gives me such peace of mind in knowing that the staff treats my mom as they would their own family members. I thank God for Parkside!

Our Mom lived at Parkside Assisted Living for a couple years until she passed last year. She was always shown compassion and respect for the most part,there were a couple aids in the two years that weren't respectful towards the residents but they quickly moved on thank goodness. When she moved in we were told they have long term employees which is rare in elderly care facilities and that was a big plus,but within a few months sadly the turnover became more often. But mostly they hired compassionate employees! Moms room was kept clean and meals were mostly good,could be more customized towards each resident I feel and not as many tomato based meals and more roasted turkey,more tender tasty pot roast or casserole meals. My biggest complaint was there needed to be more than one employee at night for safety reasons. The pluses more than outweighed the minus,we were very pleased with Moms care! Mom always felt safe too! Keep thoroughly screening new hires for compassion and trustworthiness etc.,that was a huge plus!
