I visited a friend who is very happy there. An Easter egg hunt/party was going on and it looked like the staff put on a great event for the residents.
Always clean and welcoming.
Receptionist was very helpful in my registering in for the first time. Impressed with the cleanliness and beautiful decorations inside and out.
Very friendly clean and tidy respectful I just enjoy knowing my friend is in good hands at Morningside .
I very very impressed how detailed the meeting was this am. Every test in details. This establishment is very professional, very personal. I’m very impressed and happy that we chose this location

I was very disappointed with how I was treated as a potential vendor by the staff member overseeing the activities. This is literally the only negative review that I have ever posted...for anything! I am a professional musician and I moved from San Diego to Fullerton last year to be closer to my daughter. After relocating, I needed to build business as quickly as possible. I had been a go-to musician for several of the largest assisted living facilities in San Diego. As an experienced performer with an established “show” for assisted living residents, I visited the facility to drop off a card and meet this particular lady who oversees the activities in person. I followed up with her department and was given some specific dates to perform by a colleague in her department–I tried to confirm these dates to no avail only to have them suddenly “cancelled” by this lady for some unknown reason when I finally reached her – I guess for some reason she decided that she didn’t like me for trying to confirm the very performance dates that she had instructed her assistant to provide for me in the first place. It appeared to be a big misunderstanding...at my expense but perhaps repairable. After countless emails, voicemails, some desperately construed apologies and a Christmas card, I was able to meet this person in person a second time to rectify the situation and try and salvage the opportunity. . During our meeting I was now given a chance to schedule an “audition”. This was certainly "backpedaling" from my prior scheduled dates performing for money but it was an opportunity to attempt to be conciliatory and exhibit some good will on my part. The last night before my “audition”, I received another email – this time cancelling my audition and wishing me “good luck”. I called her immediately to try and re-salvage the opportunity and get a reason for this 2nd cancellation in a row. She told me that she didn’t “owe me an explanation” and hung up abruptly. I realize that, as a vendor peddling their wares, not everyone will like you nor will they resonate with your personality. But I believe that the way we treat everyone is important – even vendors. I have performed music for 35 years and have never had anything occur even remotely like this. Ironically, I have been scouting places to place my aging parents who are planning to move out near me. The list has certainly narrowed accordingly. UPDATE- Jan, 2024 So there was a response from management to my prior negative review explaining that there is an onboarding process when choosing entertainers and expressing sadness at the situation. In response to the response- Per the stringent "onboarding process" for entertainers at this venue, I contacted management of this venue directly after being copied on a glowing email of recommendation to this property for my services from this venue''s sister property in San Diego. It would be difficult to be further validated as a contractor for this sister venue. I hope that management "steps up" and hires me in spite of my awkward experience with the entertainment director who treated me so poorly that I wrote my prior review. My not being hired as a contractor for Park Vista in spite of being warmly endorsed by Park Vista''s sister property demonstrates that I am glaringly apt to entertain the Park Vista residents and that my services are not being utilized strictly because of my calling out the manner in which I was originally treated by the programming director. I hope that the organization does the right thing and finds a way to hire me. I will keep us posted.
