This is a really nice place to live and it feels very homey. you still have all of your independence and options for activities. I really enjoy being here at this community. They have a lot of different activities and levels of activities. They have movies, activities that are provided by staff and lead by residents, bridge, shuffle board, bingo and more for the residents to do to have a good time. They also have painting and outside activities.

Overture Arboretum 60+ Apartment Homes was very new. They have large apartments and they were redoing one of them when I was there. They painted the walls and took care of the floors. They have a great view of the trees and the grass on the outside. It was great. They also have a balcony. It's good for four people, so it's pretty large. The person who toured me around was nice. She knew the residents by their first names and was friendly. They do trips around the Austin area, they have arts and crafts, happy hour, a pool, and a movie area with a bunch of seats where they can show movies from there. The dining area was very clean and very modern, too. Their menu was fantastic.
Read moreThis was a nice community but just not the place that I wanted to be. Just to many drawbacks and not the vibe that I was looking for. The other community just had more to offer for me.

I am currently a resident of Overture Arboretum; it is great and nice. It's new (just 2 years old), and they have beautiful facilities. We have a very nice place in a corner and is 1,300 sq ft, 2-bedroom. It has a little corner for eating. We have three windows, and we only share one wall. We have two walls that are open and overlooking from the fourth floor to a beautiful facility down below. They have a swimming pool, barbecue places, and sitting places. It's really beautiful, and people are very nice. They have a tremendous number of activities. Even today, the staff came and demonstrated at a barbecue and fed us all. For meals, it's just breakfast (but a very nice breakfast). The people are very friendly, and the administration is very helpful. If you need something, you call them; they have a portal. The maintenance is really on the money. I had some drawers that I needed to fix. In the afternoon, they came and fixed it. Coming from a home that I needed to take care of, it was a pleasure. I can't ask for anything. It's beautiful, all new, and they didnt skimp. The chair, the table, the facilities, it's all really nice. Even the gym is pretty good. It's $3,400, and you get all this. They have movies and activities every Thursday. They have happy hour, and they give you all the wine and beer. There is a fantastic coffee machine. You can have coffee every day. The food is hard to rate because you only have one meal. The activities that I have joined, so far have been very good.
