NIKKI SOBERBERG is rude and quit frankly has a bad attitude. I do not care if your boyfriend FD your best friend the night before you come into work for a NURSING HOME put a smile on NIKKI SOBERBERG ( not saying that happened just an example)..... be a better person NIKKI SOBERBERG you are taking care of elderly people and when families come in you should never say " I Don''t Care!".... This one star is just for a woman named NIKKI SOBERBERG she seems a bit younger and unfortunately when my husband and I asked her where my grandmothers nurse was she said she was in the other building which is fine the issue was when we asked if she could help move her on her bed because she was left in a wheelchair all morning with no neck support at all she rolled her eyes and was hesitant so we ( my husband and I) said " if you guys don''t care, we will move her". And Nikki replied " I do not care". And rolled her eyes a few times and I stated to her she should care because we could get hurt and more importantly my grandmother could''ve gotten hurt overall Nikki and another nurse that was her little buddy don''t know her name but she wasn''t as bad as Nikki however not saying anything at all is just as bad as being rude but they did move her on her bed and changed her. I feel Nikki should have more compassion and be more empathetic towards people especially when they have family members that are in severe situations where they need therapy and all around care. My grandmother Barbara fussnecker in room 309 stated she did not like them because they were mean ( Nikki). I do not want her to lose her job but a big but would be maybe a course she could take on how to act in a setting such as this wonderful place because it is truly nice and clean environment and everyone there is nice but that was the most heartbreaking situation I''ve seen there. Nikki I hope and pray you do not act like towards other people even after all of that I asked her name and said hi I''m Sarah shook her and and she was STILL rude! And we left. I''m a phlebotomist and patient care you have to have a great attitude and be patient with people and be kind and empathetic towards people even on a off day don''t mix personal and your job or it could get messy that''s for you Nikki..... Be more kind and I promise you''ll be better off.

My mom has been a resident at Otterbein Loveland now for a little over four months. We are big fans of this place! The people who staff Otterbein, of course, make all the difference, and Otterbein attracts a great staff! They supplement on weekends and holidays with agency staff from outside the Otterbein family of workers (so far they have been pretty good), but the everyday staff is wonderful. In addition to the staff, Otterbein is an example of how great architecture can enhance the effectiveness of a facility. This place is built around its kitchens. There are five small houses, each with twelve private rooms encircling a large common area with an island kitchen, two living rooms (one with a fireplace and TV, one is a quiet area for entertaining visitors), and a long dining table. Residents have the option of hiding out in their rooms when they are not feeling well. The common area works to entice people to come out of their rooms and hang out together. Thanks to Otterbein, my 90-year-old mom is meeting new people and still making friends. Healthwise, she has good days and bad days, but the staff and facilities at Otterbein help us to have the best experience we could possibly have under these circumstances. I will mention that the place is pricey: it costs $13,700 per month! At that rate, Mom will quickly burn through her modest assets, but we have been assured that Otterbein will allow her to stay once she transitions to Medicaid. At this point, I''m calling it five stars!

In our current condition as a country dealing with pandemic outbreak after outbreak, an entitled youthful generation, and people living longer, this can be a thankless industry! It takes caring and compassionate leadership to build the inviting culture that is Otterbein Loveland. The community is clean, secure and well maintained, the elders are treated with respect and dignity. This team does an amazing job of dealing with the complexities of nursing care while still providing a home like setting in an environment that perpetuates community faith and love.

Most people know how difficult it can be taking care of a loved one at home, eventually becoming impossible. That''s when Otterbein Loveland shines brightest. My wife has been a resident at Small House Circle for a few years now, and you''ll not hear any complaints from me. She has always been treated with love, respect, dignity, and attention. With great detail given to her hair, weather it be braiding, styling, etc. Our family has celebrated many holidays, and special occasions with her, and the Otterbein has always been accommodating A shout out to Nazrin (day nurse), Beth (administrator), and Bob (maintenance), and many, many others, for all you do Thanks to all, Larry

Here’s why - the reviews were so bad previous to that so management asked the staff to put up reviews to get more stars (yes I was asked ) . That’s all I will say about that - not need to comment any further - just go someplace else . Without a list of things …. I will just say this ….You can put a pretty bow and a fresh coat of paint on almost anything to make it look lovely .

As a previous aide for an agency, I’ve worked in a number of facilities in Ohio and Kentucky. No facility is perfect, but the one facility I would recommend time and time again would be Otterbein. The home-like environment gives us lower patient:aide ratios that are manageable, and I feel like Im able to make much more of an impact for my residents in the way that I need to.
