If you are looking for an excellent Healthcare Facility, look no further than Addison Healthcare Center! No, you will not find chandeliers and plush carpeting in the lobby. But, you will find an administration, nurses, aides, and staff that are for you or your loved ones. The administration has an open-door policy, and the staff treats you as though you are one of their own family members. Addison is located in Masury, Ohio. The workers come from the surrounding area. You will be right at home. Upon entering the facility, you will immediately notice the shining clean floors. There is no odd smell or the smell of urine. Housekeeping and maintenance work hard to keep everything running smoothly. The residents happily move through the hallways whether they are on their way to the Activity Room, outside, or exercise. The atmosphere is one where you will not hesitate to greet or even stop to talk to a worker or resident. My Brother has been at Addison for over six months. During this time, I have found that the staff truly cares about the well-being of its residents! My Brother is not able to walk; get into or out of bed; nor is able to get to the restroom. Nevertheless, he is not made to feel like he is a burden, like I have witnessed in other healthcare centers while visiting friends and family, over the years. Front Office: Bambi and Kristen…Thanks for going above and beyond to make my stay there more pleasant!! Food…. Pretty good. Need bigger portions (I understand why they don’t with mostly an older population). But I asked for double portions, but rarely got it. But I figured that I had to loose a few pounds anyway, so i didn’t complain! The coleslaw and sausage sandwiches were delicious! This place is a diamond in the rough!! Thank you guys!!!

He complained of limited physical therapy (and was walking on and so shouldnt have been there) and bugs in bathroom...then had water in lungs 5 days later and intead of sending to clev clinic where he came from Dr sent to Trumbull Steward and they couldnt do what Clev could (Trumbull wanted to send him back to Clev) but they tried to drain and failed...so his last week was in a cold dirty place instead of home (bc i was told he needed therapy to walk)...We were working on getting him out but you know how that goes.. where money flows there is no hurry.And I couldnt visit bc some staff had covid after he got there...
