My mother has been at Northland since October. We have found the staff to be extremely helpful and attentive. Her room is always cleaned and a very pleasant lady takes her laundry and folds it neatly and returns it to her each Friday. My mother always has clean towels and anything else that she asks for. I do not understand some of these negative reviews. This has not been our experience at all! The only reason that I only gave it four stars rather than five is because I do agree that they are short of staff and sometimes it is difficult for these people to put so many different hats on helping with the residents as well as helping in all areas, including the lunchroom. There are plenty of activities for the residents to do, and the Director of the activities, Kylee, is an upbeat and personable girl! My family reviewed many assisted-living centers, and this one stood heads above all the others!

Worst care in the world! Most of the time there are no clean towels The beds are not made, blinds still closed, patients still in pjs and this is 3pm.in the afternoon. Help has little or no training. Little or no housekeeping. TV service has been down for a month. Help doesn''t stay at the home for long. Don''t even take a tour, looks like an upscaled hotel with no care. Could go on and on.

Original staff left. New staff unfriendly, sit behind station and look at their phones. I never see them engaging with the residents. Housekeeping awful, I would have to clean the room and bathroom. Medication not given properly. Cook quit food looks awful. Administration seems confused and not sure how to run an assisted living facility. I am glad that I took my family member out of there.

Northland Heights Located in North Hill was extremely new and extremely well-maintained. The staff members were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The residents seemed very happy. The amenities seemed quite nice. It's hard to find any negatives to talk about. We saw a studio unit, which was the smallest, but it was still quite spacious. It came with a very nice furniture set that was included. The bathroom seemed safe and clean. It had a window. Considering the price point and that being the smallest one, it was extremely nice. It was an extremely positive experience.

My overall tour experience at Northland Heights was very positive. I just felt that the community was very friendly, both with the staff and the residents that I met. It seemed to me from meeting some of the residents that it was a place that they enjoyed living in, and that meant a lot to me. The staff members were very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The rooms were very spacious. The one that I toured was a single room, and I felt that it gave them enough space that somebody could feel very comfortable in the unit itself. The common areas were very clean and seemed to be well-used. They had activities like bingo and different recreational things. They offer three meals a day. They would do med management. The facility was very clean. I was very pleased with the facilities.

I toured Northland Heights Located in North Hill for myself. It was very accommodating, but they didn't have any opening at that time, and they didn't know when one would become available. The local area had everything there that a person would require. The building itself was very well laid out. They had a lot of activities that one could join in. It was just a great place. They have everything that you need, and it was a very nice facility. I think the price was very reasonable, too. What I really enjoyed about it was you can go independent living, and if you need assisted living you could go into that, too. They had accommodations for both. While I was there, some residents were decorating bowling pins, putting handkerchiefs on top of the bowling pins, and then later that evening, they were actually going to bowl and knock them down, which I thought was hilarious. They had a movie room and a patio with small gardens to plant if you wanted to. The lady that showed me around was very pleasant, professional, and helpful. The daily menu had three selections that you could choose from. If you didn't like the choices on the menu, they had another menu with different items on it that you could get.
