I left mount trexlor and Quakertown in December 2008. I left went on to graduate from Portland state graduating with a bachelors of science, minor in criminology , yes I am proud. I lived at Quakertown with no hot water for years. I, luckily went to bucks community collage, and after quite some time the finally got the Feds involved. On Dec 6 2008 , the day I left to move to Oregon, the hot water was turned on. The Devlins are very very good at what they do. Most of the staff unless you hire your own nurse, are ruthlessly destructive. It took many months to finally understand what was going on. The passive aggressive narcissistic people that still, my god, still work there. When I first arrived in April 2002 everyone for YEARS would tell me I arrived in April 2001. Except I was there , in downtown Manhattan during 9/11. They would forget to order my medication every month. EVERY month. I knew and staff knew. The devlins would not send me any medical or psychiatric records. In fact while on the phone to my mother Donna pretended to fax my medical records. We sat there for three hours while Donna lied and lied. I am the lucky one. I knew who I was and thankfully got on with my life. But most people are not as lucky as I am. I left my peeps. I could not be there to beg my community collage to go get such and such because they had lost 67 pounds in 3 months and is scared to death because he hears gunfire and goes to the counselors who tell him not to be silly its cars backfiring. My school stepped in again and got my friend into a good psychiatric hospital. No one tells anyone this right. 12 years later and still Donna and Adam are running this house of hell. Where every day is a holiday and every meal a banquet.
