The one I liked was the Morada Quintessence. It was a single level. No elevator. They had emergency calls in the rooms. They would take dinner to my mother if she wanted dinner taken to her rather than going down to the dining room. The price was reasonable; that's what I liked about it. And it was close to my house. Being close to my house was a benefit. It's a nice place. It has all the goodies. The staff who toured us did a good job.

I liked the size of Morada Quintessence. It was a little bit smaller community. There was a beautiful courtyard in the middle and some of the available rooms had a view of that courtyard. The staff was very, very helpful and very, very friendly. There were common spaces where residents could get together and socialize. There were areas for activities. There was a dining area, and the rooms that I toured were all private apartments. There were art activities. I believe they were going to put in a community garden as well. There were some physical fitness activities as well. They had a communal dining area, so residents had the opportunity to meet one another and socialize with one another while they ate their meals. They had transportation to doctor's appointments, so that was very appealing as well. it's very, very close to a strip mall that has some shops as well as a grocery store. I know they were getting ready to do some upgrades and remodeling, but the condition that I saw was very clean and very well maintained. It was a beautiful facility.

Morada Quintessence was a little different. It wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be. It was difficult for my dad to realize that that's where he's headed. Erica was super nice. She knew her job. She tried to explain some things to my dad, but he wasn't receptive. We looked at a studio apartment for him. It was nice. The bathroom was big so that he could get in and out of it, but it's just a lot for him to take in right now. The only person I talked to was Erica, but I liked her. The common areas were nice. They just didn't have a lot of people in them. I liked where it was located. At that time, the residents were playing cards. I think they might have been doing a happy hour. It was clean and it was nice.

We don't need much. The cleanliness and friendliness are great!
Read moreI highly recommend this. My dad has been resident for a few months he is always complimenting the care that he been receiving. The staff is been very friendly. It gives me a peace of mind. Im grateful for all the staff.
