Currently trying to get my mother transferred before she ends up worse than when she came in due to there lack of professionalism In caring for their patients.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is not good and they will kill your family member. My dad was here and they didn’t give him medications for 4 days and the night nurse told me they were in the “wrong cart” but they were in the facility. It was a horrible service and my dad ended up getting sicker from his heart failure and then died in the hospital. The doctor from McAllen hospital said if he had gotten his lasix he wouldn’t of died with water in his lungs. On top of that, the nurses never answer the call bells and when I brought it up to the director Diana Garza she told me that she cant do anything and said she is not responsible for the lasix and she didn’t know they weren’t giving it to my dad. I thought as a director you’re suppose to supervise all of the nurses. I talked to Karen Esquibel as well and she said she would get the administrator on board but Eduardo Barrera never called me back. They all back off in the moment of truth and never took responsibility for the wrong doing

Front desk will only transfer me to her phone in room but just found out with my dad it isn''t working and wont be fix until maybe tomorrow. The front desk wont let me talk to her nurse because none of my siblings are in emergency list just my Dad. But I called at 9a today got to speak to her nurse put my Mom was about to have therapy. So i''m being lied here. I even told them wanted to speak to manager she answered with bad line was speaking to someone and others snd just hung up on me. I''m terrified what happening to my Mom. Don''t recommend this place to anyone. Do research to get better care!! Also my Mom didn''t get to celebrate Mother''s Day at her own because they didn''t have paperwork ready. My Dad had signed for my Mom to get out of their facility for that day but they couldn''t find the paperwork and they didn''t see it in the computer. Not organized at all!!! We had BBQ for her and cake that she couldn''t enjoy!! Disappointed with the whole Staff!!! Director needs to step it up!! Everyone Caution there is a man that stays there and walks in people''s room at night and no security staff to make sure this doesn''t happen. My Dad had to make a police report on this! This place is absolutely horrible! If you love your family members and they are offered this a spot at this place, DO NOT SEND THEM! They are so disgustingly short staffed that they have 20 patients to one nurse and one CNA, nobody ever answers the phone, the staff I''m sure is overworked but that shouldn''t mean that the patients there need to be neglected. NOT TO MENTION the amount of people that pass away under their "care" its sad and horrible that people SHOULD be walking out of there, instead are left there and die. This place needs to be shut down or work on hiring the proper amount of staff to make sure patients are being well taken care of. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would!
