After enduring a fractured spine and broken bones in both legs, I found myself in dire need of rehabilitation to regain mobility and independence. From the moment I arrived, the dedication and expertise of the staff shone through, making my journey to recovery both effective and uplifting. The physical therapy and occupational therapy provided by the team, particularly Workley PT & Maria in OT, and Antonia on weekends for both, were nothing short of phenomenal. But the entire staff is great. Through their guidance and support, I was able to progress from a state of immobility to standing and using my legs again. The entire rehabilitation staff deserves recognition for their unwavering commitment to patient care and rehabilitation excellence. While the nurses and staff undoubtedly give their all, it''s evident that they are overworked, a challenge that can impact the overall experience. However, despite this, their dedication to patient well-being remains evident at every turn. I was not personally effected by this, but witnessed and heard this. On the topic of amenities, I must admit that the food left much to be desired. But don''t worry. You can order out for food. as long as your not on a restricted diet. Yet, amidst this, a shining beacon emerged in the form of the bakery , where i proceded to gain weight and was greeted and spoke with Debbie on a daily basis.. Her culinary creations not only provided a welcome respite from the standard fare, but also elevated the dining experience to one of enjoyment. During my extended stay at Emerge, I found solace and progress in the welcoming environment they cultivated. If rehabilitation and recovery from head trauma, stroke, or accident are your priorities, look no further. Emerge stands out as a beacon of excellence, where compassionate care and tangible results converge. My time there was not just about healing; But Edna and Rita from Recreation, to the social workers Sarah and Yana, Nurse supervisors Nyree and Trish. Helped me gain confidence again, and is a great support staff. Thank you all

To begin I would like to say the staff is the most caring with lots of patience. I especially would like to give Angelo, Rita (who is an angel- our translator with the most patience) a deserved recognition for their help., they went above and beyond to make my father comfortable while he was there. My father was in Emerge for rehabilitation and he received the best care and therapy. I would highly recommend this place.
