Our Mother has lived at Marian Village for one year now and loves it! The premises and grounds are impeccably beautiful. Director Ailish Dougherty and her staff are friendly, kind, and honest. During our interview of MV, everything Ailish said was true! The food and service is restaurant-excellent, the overall cleanliness is on par with four star hotels, the church services are beautiful and he entire staff couldn''t be nicer. It''s so nice here that my Aunt, my Mom''s sister, has left her Chicago Retirement Home and joined Marian Village last month - and loves it here! Thank you Marian Village & Ailish! - Vince

Marian Village was beautiful and clean. We spoke to Elise and she was very helpful. She showed us around and we met some of the staff. It was a nice place. We were hoping to get my mom there, but assisted living was not for her. The one room that we saw was very nice and spacious. The eating area was very nice, too. The chapel was beautiful. You just got a calming sense when you walked in the door. There was a salon and an activities room. They were very friendly. Everything was very clean and looked brand new.

My tour experience at Marian Village was very positive. We were able to look at several different layouts, and we went over to the cottages. The interesting thing about them is that as people are moving out of their units, they are modernizing them. They're renovating them with new flooring and they're moving from carpeting to hardwood floors. It is just extensive upgrading as these units are turned over, which means you're getting a fully renovated new unit. It's beautiful. It's very clean. I didn't see anything that would set any alarms. The staff member who toured me around was very friendly and very receptive to questions about whatever. She was very open and friendly. There's a lot going on. There was a morning social group meeting in one of their lounges. There was an exercise class going on in the gym. They were setting up to play cards. When we went over to the cottages there was no one in there, but there's a nice recreation room. The cottages had patios. A lot of the units in the newer building had balconies. It's a very open area. There's a paved walking path. There's not much around it. It's really out in the country. We looked at the dining area, but they brought us into their bistro, and we had a complimentary lunch. It was excellent. It was very, very good. We ate in the bistro.
