If you want to die go there… horrible place, dirty, they don’t treat patients well. Medicare should not be paying for these places to take care of our elderly. Putting a complain with AHCA

How this place is still open is beyond comprehension. Absolutely horrible place for a loved one to be. Total negligence happening at all levels. My 83 year old mother was staying at the rehab facility and if I wasn''t there checking in a daily basis she probably would have died there from negligence. They completely mismanage medications. Sometimes skipping them altogether. The food/menu is deplorable, not fit for animals. Forget being on any type of special cardiac or diabetic diet, they could care less. It looks and smells like slop. The aids and lpns are mean and rude to the patients and barely speak English. My mother was there almost 3 weeks and had 2 showers. Patients in rooms with call lights on will go unanswered for hours. The weekend staff is barebones, not enough help at all. At times when I visited I felt like I was witnessing scenes from a horror movie. Patients crying and screaming in their rooms for hours with no staff checking on them. I cannot stress enough what poor care this facility provides. Stay away from this place!!

ProMediical is a less than average recovery and rehabilitation facility. I was transferred from NCH to the facility for physical rehab. The management was kind but kept to themselves. Nursing staff was very knowledgeable but overwhelmed. Getting your medication was not precise as it may take 1 hour or longer to get It so if you are hurting be ready to wait. The food delivery was bland and on no schedule that I could see. My tray may come and never be picked up until the next day. There were food trays all over the place. They need to be replaced. The physical therapist and team were great and did an excellent job. I had a bathroom in my room but could not use it as the shower was broken and things stored in the bathroom. Fortunately the sink and toilet worked. So you have been warned as this place will open your eyes.

Lakewood Rehab did a fantastic job with my dad He has Parkinson''s and fell 2 times in 2 weeks and was not able to get out of bed. We spent 6 days in the hospital and got transferred to Lakewood. Speaking honestly, it is not the fanciest rehab center, but they got the job done. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Diane at the front office even called to check up on Dad after he was released. Tracey his nurse went above and beyond to keep Dad''s spirits up. All of the therapy department had my dad''s best interest at heart. They made him get up and get moving. After a 3 week stay he is now back on his feet and walking on his walker. A smile on his face, put''s a smile on mine. Thanks so much to all of the staff at Lakewood for my smile today
