When I visited the Manchester Manor today I was representing my church in Manchester doing a church service in the dining room. The recreation attendees were very helpful and professional. The dining room was clean and the residents were all brought into the dining room for the program. After the service I visited a resident down the hallway. She was in bed dressed very clean she had her teddy bears on the bed with her she had music on in her room her room was very clean. I was very impressed with the facility.

My mom was here (Virginia Burby) annd after passing away a couple years from Covd , I can honestly say that her Nurses were the best & her CNA’s (Alex ), and the other CNA”s were absolutely wonderful. The Staff were great, patient ,compassionate & understanding ❣️😊😇🙏
Very clean and a polite and happy staff.

Let me start by saying i spent 45 years doing Direct patient care in very busy hospitals. I am very well aware of the challenges of health care today! With that said... My mom broke her hip and landed in Vernon rehab. after her stay at Hart Hosp. Long story short it was a nightmare. Some nice people but very poor communication. They discharged my mom several weeks later with a BP that had dropped to 90. She landed in Hart Hosp ICU 10 hrs later from her assisted living facility. After lots of testing HH was able to find conditions that were affecting her and slowing her recovery from her broken hip. Back to rehab but this time we said NO Vernon Manor. After lots of searching we ended up at Manchester Manor. My family was wary because they are owned but the same company as Vernon Manor. But other places were full. A blessing they were. Manchester Manor is how a facility should be run. Not perfect but damn close and what what they weren''t perfect in wasn''t life threatening, unlike Vernon. Everyone.right down to housekeeping , dietary, office staff would stop and ask if I needed anything if I was waiting outside a room my mom was in. I''m a detail person. They were detail people. These are only some of the names I remember Lea Ann, Brey Anna, Paige, Margo, King, Canida, Lisa, Laura I only wish I remembered more. Knowing to much can be a curse but ALL the people at Manchester handled my obsessive worry with kindness and compassion!! My family is forever grateful to them!! Ty, Pat
