Every since my grandma been here she has had problems.First it started off with a bad bruised on her arm from the stand lift, then it started with her legs swelling.Next it move to two of her toenails having fungus. Then it took the family member to point out all this to the staff. We start noticing her having chills, been extremely tired, not eating, not speaking. She was also coughing and spiting up have blood. She never did this. She have her days where she get crossed up but never not been able to speak. We talk to the nurse and she told us that this was normal because of her age and dementia. We told her that this was not a normal thing for her. We ask can we send her to the hospital she stated " I CAN SEND HER TO THE HOSPITAL . BUT I DON''T KNOW WHAT TO TELL THEM BECAUSE THIS NORMAL. I SEE THIS ALL THE TIME THEY''RE JUST GOING TO SEND HER BACK. We kept talking to the asking her how is it normal when she can''t respond and the only thing she was doing was barely holding her eyes opening. She was shaking like she had Parkinson disease. She had a doctor appointment with her lung specialist. My mom took her this morning immediately after the doctor check her lungs she was rush to the hospital. She has pneumonia in both long because this has been going on so long. They''re running alot of tests to see have it enter her blood stream and what other infection has happen. Now we''re in ICU praying everything will be okay..It shouldn''t have took my mother and I to point all these symptoms out..If we would have just went ahead and took her out from the beginning..if I could put a zero star I can.
