My mother was a resident of Daybrook for a couple of months following a stroke. My family and I thought she was very well cared for during her time there. Is it the most modern facility in western Mass? No, but she was treated with kindness and dignity by the nurses, aides and physical therapists the entire time she was there and we are very grateful to all of them for helping her.

Read some other negative reviews of this place and I couldn''t disagree with any of them. My mom went to rehab 2 years ago after a urinary track infection. Normally she would of gone to facilty in Agawam Heritage Hall or whatever. It was time of covid pandemic and she couldn''t be sent there but got sent to Daybrook Village. During her stay maybe because of the covid restrictions our family couldn''t talk to her and when asked staff what her condition was they would pass it on to another staffer who then would deflect the question altogether. She never rehabbed by staff never gotten her strength back never really tended to her needs meaning changing her bathing her ect. That experience was truly harmful to her for after that stay she had to go to Baystate hospital. She was put in hospice care. It was home which was a good thing she had medical care for her had nurses come in and tend to her needs. Something she never got at Daybrook. She passed this past February. I hear ads on radio for Daybrook Village and want to scream. Worst facility ever

First off this place deletes reviews to hide behind the fact that their nursing care is awful. My grandmother went for rehab and in two months never got therapy and ended up with a necrotic heal, a wound to her leg that was close to 3 inches wide and 3 inches deep. When we requested she be discharge due to the awful nursing care she was discharge with paperwork showing she had an active infection for over two weeks that she was never treated for along with gross hematuria which ultimately cause urosepsis and she died within 48 hours of discharge. I wouldn''t recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!
