Great experience at along Island Care Center. The Rehab department is wonderful. Nursing was very caring. The recreation department is so thoughtful and bring so much excitement

After contemplating for a long time I decided to write. All the 5 star reviews so close in time to each other and with only 1 or 2 reviews seems questionable. I recently left the nursing department after the following. A few months ago a patient was declared dead and covered in sheets and hours lat...
After contemplating for a long time I decided to write. All the 5 star reviews so close in time to each other and with only 1 or 2 reviews seems questionable. I recently left the nursing department after the following. A few months ago a patient was declared dead and covered in sheets and hours later when the funeral company arrived it was discovered the patient was alive. I''m not sure how that can happen. Most if not all the caring nurses already resigned and went elsewhere, the facility used to be a caring and homelike atmosphere but now there are supervisors all over the place just delegating orders, I personally would not place my loved one under their care though you can decide for yourself. Writing this took a burden off my chest knowing that I did my part.
