The staff, from custodian to management, is great! The events are so. . . Eventful – barbeques, road trips, gardening, movies, performances. Everyone is pleasant, patient and just wonderful. I wish i could name each personally, but i have to single out sara, who is dedicated, strong and sincerely cares about her job{s}. She has gone the extra mile for my mother. I visit usually twice a week and everyone at the front desk, kitchen, med administrators, medical team etc. Is respectful and attentive. Because my mother is happy at atria forest hills, our relationship is better; and for that i thank god. I cannot name all the staff by name but from dining room, to housekeeping, to personal aides, to entertainment/recreational personnel, to maintenance, to front desk, to medical, and administration, i can only sing praises for all. They have the highest quality of people employed at atria that really care for the residents. All know my mom by name and always go out of their way to assist her. My family and i had the pleasure of attending their december holiday celebration a couple of times. Food was exceptional and the service also. Entertainment has been excellent. The actual set up of the building is perfect, not too large. It is a small community very comfortable. Unfortunately for us it became necessary for my mom to live in a place providing more intense care and i sadly moved her out. I am so sorry to have to leave atria of forest hills, but rest assured i would highly recommend it and would be happy to be a resident there myself. Thank you all so much. From walking around in her nightgown to wearing hats and leis, every gathering this place holds. That’s how much atria has transformed her. All the aides provide laughter and happiness to gladys, she shares these intriguing stories to her own family. I didn’t get it but my request for blueberries and a nova salmon omelte came very quickly. The sides came as well. The dining room staff are the ones i am most acquainted with and i find them hard workers and pleasant especially when having to do some unpleasant tasks such as carrying heavy trays and being pleasant when it seems to be hard to be pleasant. Maintenance and reception are always diligent at solving problems especially jose solares, and alexis. Sara and sherice do a good job at scheduling events. I would like to see more music/singer concerts with jacque as my mother enjoys these concerts immensely. Unfortunately i don’t know everyone’s name as there are many more to thank. She has a good good heart and a wonderful way about her. Atria was smart to hire her. A lot of the other girls are great as well, but blanca is outstanding to me. She is just marvelous. It is always a pleasure to see him assisting and conversing with the residents. On one particularly difficult weather day this winter (there have been so many! ! ) he noticed that the path to walk into the residence needed to be re-shoveled as a result of the city plows. He made it happen, quickly. Your staff does not look the other way when they see something that needs attending to; they go right for it. Stephanie allowed me to park in her own personal spot all week when i expressed discomfort due to being in a rental vehicle after a snow related incident. They are both kind and generous.
