Laguna Estates Senior Living was a very nice place, even my mom was impressed. The sales guy was pretty nice and he wasn't pushy. The rooms were good and they were of nice size. For independent living, they didn't have much of a kitchen, which was kind of disappointing. I think they also did that because you can move from independent living to assisted living and just stay in the same apartment without moving out. They had a library, a pool, a room where you could watch movies, a place where you could do crafts and a little room where you could have coffee.

We got along great with him, but the facility is really close to the freeway, so there's a lot of freeway noise. The building was all great. We got to see one room and it was really old, dark, dingy, and near the freeway. We actually went to a place that was cheaper, but it was still way out of my mom's price range.
