They was so NOT good with him, he fell 3 times all 3 times hurting himself last fall her had to get 3 Staples in his head. They wouldn''t watch him they all knew her tried to get outta bed n wasn''t able to they did nothing to keep him in bed,. Ya they put alarm pad on one side but when it went off they wouldn''t come check on him, they never bathed him, they wouldn''t bring him nothing to drink when he ask for it, he went from weighing 135 lbs when her went in to weighing 85 lbs when they decided he couldn''t be there no more and needed hospices. This place is a sorry excuse for a Nursing home/rehab center. Here is a picture of a way they said works keep him from falling when he tried to get outta bed ummm trip Hazzard I thank., and to thank they said they took care of him he feet look awful PLEASE DON''T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES THERE FOR NOTHING. This place is absolutely ridiculous. We had our dad there for just a short period for rehabilitation supposedly. But he only got worse from the time he went in there. He started going down hill lost weight. Fell three times which sent him to the hospital twice. He was found laying in urine. His foot was bleeding through his bandages and they stacked pillows on the floor incase he fell out of bed again. It was pretty heart wrenching. And God only knows what happened when he contracted Covid an was put in isolation. When he came out he didn’t know any of us. I don’t think he was fed unless my mom went out to feed him. It’s a shame. My dad was a sweet person who loved everyone and he passed away 3days after he left there😢😢Breaks my heart to think people can treat someone like he was treated. There was one person there that was especially good to my dad. His name is Coty. I will always remember him❤️My dad passed away April 2nd 2022 he will forever be missed by everyone. He was the kindest sweetest person ever. He loved everyone and he loved the Lord❤️❤️Rip dad. We love you❤️❤️

If you have a loved one in Kingsbrook get them out ASAP! My mamaw (has dementia) was there for a month for “rehab” following a heart attack due to Covid. They sent her home Sunday, not able to walk, talk, or sit up, which she could do before she went. Home health evaluated her and she’s going back to the hospital today for severe dehydration, UTI, and kidney failure. She also has bed sores and thrush in her mouth where they didn’t take care of her mouth the entire time she was there. And they always acted like everything was fine every day my mom called to check on her. All they did was sedate her and let her lay for a month until her insurance wouldn’t pay anymore. 😡😡😡 ****Editing to add*** my mamaw passed 6 days after coming home from kingsbrook 💔

My mother has spent a week here for therapy for her broken hip. She has had two therapy sessions in that time. The rest of the time she stayed in bed or in a chair. She complains that the nurses are extremely slow to respond, if they respond at all, to requests for bathroom or medicine. She was supposed be released on Monday, but the doctor didn''t show up. It''s obvious that the management here is incompetent and that the staff doesn''t care. They did come around today and have her sign papers that she would have to leave in 2 days, when her insurance runs out. It makes me think that the insurance money is all they care about.

Please if you have a loved one in there then please listen to me and get them out of there. My dad was put there for rehabilitation after beinging in the hospital. When he went there he could talk and sit and walk with help cause he was a fall resk. Well my brother and i would call daily to check on him and was told he was doing good. Well the week of 14th of December they called and said that they was releasing him cause he told them he no longer wanted therapy. They told me he can walk but is stubborn and will not. Well I actually talked to my dad on the 16th of December and was able to understand what he was saying. Well on the 18th when my brother went to get him, my dad could not talk, walk, or even sit by himself and was severely malnutrition and dehydrated. . well sadly to say we lost my dad on the 21st of December. So please if you have a loved on at kingsbrook get them out of there.
