Fellowship Square Tucson was like a neighborhood where you have a neighbor or your friend there with you. The facilities were very well kept and very clean. The lady that did the tour was very well informed. She answered the questions and knew the facility inside and outside. They give you three meals a day. They also had a salon, a courtyard, and they were very busy with different activities on different days. The food was very good.

Fellowship Square Tucson is too big. It's spread out too much. It was good, but it was just too confusing. I saw the dining room, a multipurpose activity room, and a library. The cleanliness was very good. The rooms were very nice. I only looked at two rooms, but they were very nice. However, in terms of location, it's kind of on the outskirts of the city. It's beautiful and all that sort of stuff, but unless you happen to be in a more central bedroom, getting around is much more difficult.

I toured Fellowship Square Tucson and I liked the construction of the building. It's awesome. You can't hear any noises between the apartments between the floors or in the halls or anywhere. The dining place was adequate. I just didn't care for the food that I had and the dining area wasn't in the same building. Like today at noon, which would have been time to eat, it was pouring down rain here and I'm not very comfortable walking over there in that weather. Otherwise, the apartments were a nice size. It wasn't expensive and it's in a good location.

We have selected a place and we're going to Fellowship Square Tucson. When we went to see it originally, it didn't have that same feeling that I get at so many other places. You don't have hallways, your apartment is open to the outside, and the people seem very, very nice. We had a meal there to make sure the food was good, and the food was excellent. We were really surprised and very happy that it was good. They have a lovely dog park. I have a dog and that's very important to me. Because it's nonprofit, it was half as much as the other place (which we also like), but that was way too expensive. The only interaction I've had was with the woman who took care of the leasing. However, everybody seemed very friendly and very nice. They don't have as many facilities as some of the other places. But they have a lovely library, and they have a workout room. They have some nice senior features, and they have like a little café.

I toured Fellowship Square Tucson. They have the full range of things. It is an older facility, so a lot of the rooms have an outdoor space outside your door where you could go and sit if you wanted to. They have ground floors where you could sit outside. But it was reminiscent of those strip motels where you go into a room and you enter from an outside door. They didn't give very many meals with your rent. They provide 15 meals a month, and that isn't a lot, and then they have continental breakfast. They're a little bit cheaper, but they don't have as many meals. I asked some of the residents about happy hours, and they said, "We're a Christian community. We don't have happy hours or social hours where they serve alcohol."

Fellowship Square Tucson is a very nice and very clean community. The grounds are beautiful. The landscaping is very nice and very well-kept. The pool area is also very nice. My friend's apartment was all renovated with new floors, new carpet, and new appliances. The price is great for what's included. They take them to the doctor's appointments or go shopping, you can come and go, and there's parking provided for residents who still drive and own vehicles. When you walk into their beautiful dining room, on the left-hand side is an area with computers. On the right side, there's a huge library of books. Then they have a little restaurant that they're getting ready to open up. If you don't like what's on the menu, you can go around the corner and you can order off the menu. He loves the continental breakfast, and when he goes to lunch, he can pick what he wants. It's got 19 acres of land, so it's huge. They have a little store in there, too.
