I had checked King David out for a tour for a long term family member seeking long term care. In my situation, I had very limited time to set up appointments to tour several nursing facilities before making a decision. When I reached out to King David, they had set me up a tour promptly for the same day. As other reviewers mentioned, from the moment I walked through the doors, all the staff I encountered were friendly. Deciding a nursing facility for long term care is an especially difficult and stressful situation since you want the best for your loved ones. The staff at King David were very understanding, compassionate and patient compared to the other nursing facilities I had visited. An exceptional stand out staff is Sisi from King David who guided me on the tour. The synergy between the staff was great. Everyone there from the employees to the residents all had smiles on their faces. As we walked through the facilities, there were many little warm and playful interactions between Sisi and the residents. This is a stark comparison to the other facilities I''ve visited where the the interactions were cold and clinical. You can tell the staff really try to foster a trusting relationship and a true community at King David. The facilities were really clean and I believe is newly built. From what I observed, there are also a lot of Chinese staff and accommodations if that''s what you''re looking for (Chinese TV channels, Chinese staff, Chinese food choices, celebration of ethnic holidays, etc). Before leaving Sisi had also offered her number to reach out for any insurance questions and issues (she did help me through some issues) and even a ride to where I was headed! Now that''s really going above and beyond!

My mom has been at King David for a while now suffering from dementia. I cannot say enough great things about this facility and the staff. They are caring and very friendly. I have gotten to know so many of the staff from the CNA’s, kitchen, nursing, recreation, technical, maintenance, administration etc. Everyone knows my mom “Chiquita”. I had never in my life seen my 94 year old mom dance or sing and when Andrea from recreation had musicians and ball room dancers come on to the floor I saw my mom dancing and singing the words to very old songs! It was unbelievable!

Very attentive nursing stuff, good food
