Cant speak for anything other than the kitchen but if you have any experience and skills whatsoever do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.This place is toxic with poor management and full of politics.There''s a reason they can''t keep a chef and that should be reason enough to stay away.If you think this is a review from a bitter employee and dismissing it your wrong. I left on my own and make more money now.Just wanna warn people so they don''t make the same mistake I did.

Worst place ever to be employed ! If your looking for a job skip this place. There are cliques and bullies in lots of the departments.There is more drama at Kendal then I have ever seen . The company makes promises that they don’t keep. I was suppose to get a cost of living raise, bonus at Christmas time and a merit raise and none of that happened. The independent living section is not too bad but the health center is all doom and gloom. The residents are not taken care of as they should be . Do yourself a favor if your looking for a retirement home for yourself or a loved one, don’t pick Kendal you will regret it

My parents moved in 20 years ago to a lovely 2 bedroom unit. They were fully immersed in the activities and workshops Kendal offers until my Dad died. After that my mom required more assistance which she has received in the Assisted Living wing, and now in Nursing care. We visit regularly and are always impressed by the care from the staff. We also LOVE the food and wish we had that variety and quality here at home. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
