We moved my mother to The Village last Summer. The facility and rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean. The staff, from nurses to front desk personnel to everyone in between, (most notably Carol Kolenski) have always been friendly and helpful. Most importantly, we have felt very supported as we transitioned my mother first, to assisted living, and more recently, to memory care.

I can''t comment on what it''s like yet to live in this facility, but I''ve worked for years with Carol Kolenski, the Community Relations Counselor, who has been nothing short of outstanding when it comes to answering our questions, giving us multiple tours, and waiting patiently as our family mulled things over -- in our case, for several years. We never felt like we were being "sold" anything or pushed to make a decision-- she was helping guide our family, moving at the comfort of our own pace, to making the best decision for us. I''m happy to say that my mom now plans to move in to the Village in the coming months and we are delighted to get to continue to work with Carol and the kind staff there.

Such a welcoming staff at The Village! We had anticipated that our loved one with dementia might have a challenging move to a new place, but the friendly and attentive care team there--starting with Carol Kolenski, the Community Relations Coordinator-- made the move a very positive experience for him and for our family. Carol focused in on his love of opera, and within a few minutes of his arrival in the building, he was comfortable enough to start singing one of his favorite arias! After spending some time in his new apartment, he was in the living room area with other residents and staff, enjoying a snack and a visit with the therapy dogs. Thanks to Carol and the rest of The Village team for their positive energy and support through this important transition.

Last week my son and I had a chance to visit the Villages. We decided to check out the facilities before I needed to make a decision to move. I had heard good things about the Villages, and the tour that Carol gave us showed that the good things I had heard were true. It seems that every detail is considered. Large light filled rooms, spaces for art work, hair salon, everything seems to be there. We came away with the knowledge that this is a great place to go, when living independently is not an option.
