Please, if you are able to, find another facility for yourself or a loved one. DO NOT GO TO IVY HIll!! My mother died while under their care last week and I have yet to get a call back from the social worker or anyone working there. We received a call from the hospital saying that she was found unconscious on the floor in the facility. Nobody knew how long she had been down for. By the time help was called, it was too late. She had been feeling sick all morning, wasn''t well enough to go to dialysis. Why wasn''t she called an ambulance earlier? Ivy Hill never called us to say that she had been taken to the hospital. To this day, they have never called us even to express their sympathy. I went to pick up her belongings the day after it happened and in the reception they didn''t even know she had passed away. When I went into my mother''s room, the bathroom had no lights. The TV was propped on the wall and wasn''t working. It is grim in there! And let''s not forget, my mother died while under their care and they have yet to call us back!! Save yourself and your loved one. Do not go to Ivy Hill.
Read moreMy aunt stayed there post-op and really liked it there the food was great, especially because she loved the dining room where she could choose what she wanted to eat. The nurses and therapist were amazing and very helpful. Whenever I came to visit it always looked clean and always smelled good.
Great facility with great staff who take pride in what they do.
