There are definitely people here that care, but the bottom line is the others, higher up only care about filling the beds and getting paid. I told them exactly the amount of care my mother needed and they said absolutely we will be able to do all that. When it came down to it, they couldn’t, even said oh no we can’t do that, we don’t have the help for that. I regret placing my mother here, yes it was my decision, but when your told one thing and then they go back on it, what you made your decision on is no longer valid. 5 falls in 6 days… the last fall they never called me. That fall she fractured her hip, ended up back in the hospital and later died. I wouldn’t put anyone in this facility!! In the end they even lost her clothes. I will regret my decision for the rest of my life!! DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVES ONE HERE!!
Read moreExcellent care for my family member. Had to move him here from a facility that was shoddy. Island Rehab he is clothed, fed well and loves the people who take care of him. There is always clean sheets on the bed with his blanket.
HIPAA violations by leaving computers logged in and unlocked with patient record website minimized but logged in. Also let patient records in another patients room. Foul water. Dirty floors. Rusted pipes. Rusted beds. Didn’t empty bed pan for over 2 hours.
