Staff at this Assisted Living is always rude. Particularly LPN E Shore. The residents look miserable

My sister will be moving into Cedar Creek Assisted Living. It is under new ownership. It's been fully renovated. The rooms are brand new. The halls are bright and clean. They put a lot of money into the facility. You walk in, and it smells wonderful. Everything is in good repair. The air-conditioning is nice and cold. Everything is dry. The activity room is full of commotion and lots of things going on. The people who live there look very well cared for. I know from what I read, it wasn't like that before, but it certainly is now. Everything seems to be doing very well now. Everyone was very friendly and very kind. They have a sunroom, an activity room, a beautiful dining room, and a wonderful place outside for everyone to sit. The grounds are very well cared for, and the people seemed very content.

The food is really good.

I have a family friend that lives here. This place use to be really great, but it seems like they don’t care about the people living here anymore. I see pictures of the food it’s horrible what they serve looks like a school lunch, some days doesn’t look better than jail food. She pays so much money and usually there is only one or two cna’s working for the entire building, this stresses her out because she’s scared if she falls she won’t be helped within a reasonable amount of time seeing as it’s a two story building. It stresses me out! This has been a problem for about a year - 2 years now, they will tell her they’re working on getting more people. Broken promises. She shouldn’t have to feel this way or stress about it when she’s there to solve her issues and help her quality of life. That’s ridiculous and hazardous, not to mention unfair for the employees having to cover all that ground. Prayers for them and the people living here, it’s really sad.
Read moreThe price was decent. The location was good. The food was good for my loved one. This is a good place for assisted living and I would recommend if your loved one needs this type of care.
