Including Activities in Your Routine
The staff at Hope Center Memory Care strives to make every day unique through planned events and amenities as part of their “live, love, learn” program. From sweet treats on national chocolate milkshake day to learning about the world during national geographic exploration, there are new and engaging activities every single day. Every meal in the dining hall is crafted by an executive chef who takes pride in creating delicious and nutritious options for all. Dietary restrictions are easy to accommodate; however, dining out occasionally at Krack’n Up Krabs for fresh seafood is a nice change of pace. After a visit to the spa or an evening in the courtyard, relax with a book or cup of hot chocolate by the fireplace.
The studio apartments at Hope Center Memory Care are designed to be safe and secure for tenants, allowing them to live independently. Wi-Fi is available to all, and cable can easily be set up. Spend the morning in the resident garden while housekeeping does your laundry and basic cleaning around your home. Get any household essentials from the nearby Kroger, or reach out to staff at the facility to have items delivered.

My father will be moving here. They have several different levels of care there. He's at the lowest level right now, but he can move up as he gets better. It's a good community. The residents were all in there together, talking and reading. My dad needs conversation. He doesn't like to be alone, so that was a big thing, too. They don't have the same amenities as the other places, but they have physical therapy there. They had a courtyard and it was nice.

My tour guide, [name removed] was very approachable and helpful. She answered all my questions and did not rush our time spent together. I would give her a 5. The facility was not to my liking. It seemed much more institutional and a lot of the staff were listening to some rather loud music. I felt that Hope was also a bit more for residents who are in more of a decline with locked doors etc... It just wasn't the correct place for mom.

One star was given because I had to give a star in order to write the review. If your love one is on Hospice or in need of daily assistance, the Hope Center is not the place to trust with your love one. The Hope Center Staff does not work collaboratively with the Hospice staff to ensure your family members are cared for. I trusted the Hope Center with my mom''s care and they totally failed our family. My mother entered their facility December 2021 and left August 31st with a stage 4 bedsore. Hope Center''s Staff does not effectively communicate with families about their love ones and they are grossly understaffed. Hope''s staff members are uneducated and unprofessional. No one on their staff acknowledged my mom''s bedsore nor was an apology offered. The Hope Center does not deserve to be in business.

I went to Hope Center Memory Care. I actually thought it was one of the better facilities that I visited. It really had the things I needed. I chose this because I liked the fact that the people in the facility, the aides, nurses, and others wore a mask. I like that because we still have COVID in our surroundings. I liked the fact that they had four different pods or places where they put patients and it was according to cognitive functioning. If it was very low cognitive function, there would be 16 to 18 patients in a pod. If it was high, it would be in another pod, and the two in the middle were for people who had varying degrees of cognitive function. The aides were certified dementia practitioners. I like that. They make 30-minute rounds. I like that for somebody who has dementia. One of the reasons why I chose this is, it had podiatry, and my husband needs podiatry. He's also in hospice, so they will take care of the incontinence problems. They have a support group. None of the other places that I went to ever really mentioned any of this. Peyton, she was very good. She basically verified and actually told me all these things so that helped me to make my decision. The facility is locked for certain hours, but I could still get in. And they had two wellness directors who are involved with the patients all the time. There's Hospice on call on the weekend. I didn't observe any activities, but I just had somebody who came to my house and explained a little bit more about it, it was the social worker and the hospice nurse. And they both said there are many activities that they will get my husband involved in and I think that's good.
