The office leadership use unethical practices, over charge for services, and the food sucks. I gave 30 days notice and they are charging me for 60 days because I didn''t give my notice on Easter

I visited Oaks at Fayetteville. They showed me the rooms and they had a small refrigerator. It's an older facility, but it's very well-decorated and very homey, it just made me feel at home. Even the dining for each resident had a place setting with their menu attached, and that was very personable. I didn't smell anything, it was very clean. They said they had 43 residents. I only visited their assisted living and only saw a couple of residents, so I didn't see a lot of people. I saw several workers walking around who were very polite and they said hello. I felt that I was rushed during the tour because somebody else was waiting. I told them it was OK, and they apologized profusely because they kinda forgot me there and I just sat for 30 minutes. They did their job even though there were a couple of interruptions. It wasn't perfect, but it was a good job.

The staff that I met were nice and friendly, and the few nurses I passed by greeted me, so that was good. I didn't see any activities but I saw their activities listed and the time they would be doing them. The living atmosphere of the place was pretty nice.

I went to Oaks at Fayetteville. They are convenient and close to my family, so we can get to mom and visit. The staff was very pleasant and seemed to be attentive to my questions, such as what I was going to need for my mom and about the current patients that were already there. I didn't get a chance to see many amenities. She did walk me to the area for the memory care, and the room was kind of undergoing remodeling. It wasn't ready for a patient. I would have to see it after the renovation. They have a courtyard. I'm considering it for my mother. It's near restaurants and hospitals.

Oaks at Fayetteville is a nice place. I would recommend it. I didn't have much of a tour because the lady that was supposed to lead the tour was not there that day. She was supposed to be in, but she wasn't. We looked at the room and kind of looked around a little bit. It wasn't much of a tour, but it was a nice place. It's a really nice place. The amenities are really good. They've got very good assisted living programs. They have music, movies, and bingo. They have just about anything you want to do to stay busy. The dining area was very clean, very nice-looking, and very tempting to eat.

We had an extended family member that's been living at Oaks at Fayetteville for about 13 years. It was clean and affordable. It has a resort-like feeling instead of what you think a nursing home or assisted living facility would look like. It is laid out like a hotel. There's a lobby, a dining room, a theater room, a courtyard, a formal dining room for families (if residents want to have a private dinner with their family members), and nice buses to take residents shopping or the doctor. Their rooms are very nice. They all have at least one bedroom, a living room, a huge accessible bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a refrigerator so you could store beverages and snacks. It was more like a condo apartment/ resort-type setting. I liked the way the staff dealt with their residents. They tried to lift their spirits. So, they knew their role.
