Id like to draw your attention to the care team that exhibited exceptional skills well above and beyond what you would expect. Specifically the Therapists (PT AND OT) Christina, Michele, Nick and Kaylee. These professionals provide excellent motivation and the drive required for their residents to attain their goals. I should note that when I arrived here i could not walk more than 15 feet. I’m leaving consistently walking close to 1/2 a mile. It’s the skills the Therapists have mastered, along with their formal training, that brought me to the walking distance and exercises I’ve achieved. They drive residents to achieve their individual goal plan. It is a skill set developed over time by well-trained and experienced professionals that produce such exceptional results. Those mentioned above have reached that level in their careers. I would echo the same for my nursing team. They provide care in the most difficult and strenuous circumstances. More often than not you come here for the Rehabilitation offered. It is the professionals mentioned above that achieve consistently better than expected results for the residents under their therapeutic care. If it weren’t for the 4 Therapists named above i doubt i would have exceeded my goal plan to the extent I have. Please pass my comments on to the Professionals I’ve recognized above. They deserve to be credited by the management team. Grand River is better off because you have such dedicated and skilled professional staff. Care Team Recognition It would be remiss of me, if I did not point out certain Care Team members that go beyond expectation in serving facility residents. In addition they are great ambassadors for Grand River Health. The following deserve special recognition for their professionalism and dedication to caring for the residents they serve, Jessica G, Chris B, Brandi B, Qiana M and Sue. These people exhibit great patience while dealing with disruptive and disorderly residents. Never do they allow their emotions to cloud the care they provide. These nurses and aides are empathetic and truly put themselves in the circumstances of the residents they serve. They are the definition of dedicated professionals. It is these people and others like them that result in Grand River Health’s high marks as a premier go-to facility in North East Ohio. I highly recommend the Therepy and Skilled Nursing care provided to it’s residents. To me Grand River is the people I’ve recognized in this review. Their attentiveness to me, along with the fantastic skills, is what would keep me choosing this Rehabilitation facility over others if ever I need future care. I hope I will leave here and not return, but i take comfort knowing that if I do i will receive world class care by the Nurses, Therapists, and Aides I have recognized herein.
