The office and support staff have been engaged and available. They have worked really hard to find caregivers who are skilled in working with my difficult senior. They are currently providing 8 hours of care daily. My only regret is that I am not allowed to communicate directly with care staff. While the office folks do a great job of passing info between us, since my senior is in a different town, I would like to be able to communicate directly with caregivers sometimes.

I can not say enough about how pleased my sister and I are with Home Instead! Every person we have interacted with has been caring and responsive. The team of caregivers who have been assigned to help our parents have been simply wonderful! They treat my parents with real concern, and work very hard to do everything for them, just exactly the way they would prefer it done. We worked briefly with another organization, and the difference is night and day! From our first contact with Home Instead we saw how organized and detailed they are. Meta in the office has been so lovely and has gathered so many details about my parents. This helps caregivers arrive prepared to support and connect with my parents. The entire process, including their contract and paperwork, the caregiver communication binder, their online portal, and their staff has been a great fit for our family. They are also very responsive to questions and requests. We really feel that our parents are cared for, and that we are being supported. It is such a relief to have Partners we can trust for our parents care!

My mother is enjoying the companionship provided by the Home Instead staff. They arrive on time and provide necessary stimulation during this COVID, rather isolated, situation. It makes me feel better that when I can't be there, someone else who is friendly, familiar, and professional can be. The team approach works well. Several staff members come in the beginning, then the three people who my mother most connects with are scheduled when possible. This provides consistency and pleasure for all involved.
