This provider takes home care to the high level. I have used them for many years for my mom. They have done cooking, cleaning, personal care, hygiene. They also did laundry, took her to her Dr. appointments. Our caregiver Erna was very kind and was good company for my mom. She would read to her and watch her favorite TV programs . She was wonderful, she related to mom and responded to her needs as I was advised by her Dr's. She assisted in her physical therapy when she needed it. We really miss her. The Homeinstead staff were responsive to our needs and courteous if the care giver was going to be late or were not able to make it, they would find some one to assist. Great People, Great Company!

The caregiver provides the following services for my husband: helps him get out of bed, bathed, dressed, gives him his medication, prepares & serves his breakfast, encourages him to use his walker, or helps with wheelchair when needed. She also assists when he needs to use the restroom. In the evening, the routine is done in reverse. When not needed if he is napping etc., she assists with keeping up with his laundry, making his bed, light housekeeping, or wherever her help may be needed. She typically arrives about 10 minutes before her shift. We have had very positive interaction with her. She is very courteous, and reacts to any suggestions in an appreciative manner. The agency has also been very responsive to our requests, and respond in a timely manner.

The caregiver my father now has not only takes care of any of his physical needs, but shows him a tremendous amount of care and kindness. My father considers her a dear friend now.
