My father was there in 2022, worst place ever! He dropped his pills and some fell into the garbage, so my sister asked the nurse if he could get more. The nurse who had her RNBS degree told my sister if I turn my back you can dumpster dive into the garbage and get them out. We reported her to the DON nothing was ever done to her. Unreal. Also his bed broke and the put him into a recliner, never gave him a blanket or pillow. He called my mother and told her he was freezing. Had to sleep all night in his recliner. I told them I wouldn''t put my dog in this place. Terrible nursing care. Wait for an hour to use the bathroom. We got him out of that dump.

My mother was here for a month for recovery, and the doctor in charge of her care made a bunch of decisions without telling the family, and caused major financial and emotional damage. When we were moving her back home they gave us her unopened toothpaste and unused toothbrush, so they hadn''t been helping her brush her teeth during her stay. The parking for visitors is atrocious. The therapy she received was very helpful, but it very much feels like the doctor pencil whipped some report and took advantage of my mom and the family.

We had a confusing experience getting my mother admitted. We planned to move her the Saturday after Thanksgiving because I came from out of state with my daughter to help with this. The date was set the beginning of November. When we arrived with my mother''s belongings no one was ready with any instructions. The admissions person was out. Understandably, but left no instructions with any one else on what to do. We moved several items in and her clothes ECT. We got three different accounts of what to do with unlabeled clothing and several staff saw what and where we put things. The Monday after, when we are gone, my sister gets a call from the admissions person that things need to be moved out and that they have already rearranged things. She has no way to move things without us. Besides this the woman that shares this room was besides herself upset at getting a roommate. Sobbing in the hall. I think some of this could have avoided by better planning.
