I had my grandma here once before after surgery and it was a pleasant experience. I didn''t think twice about where to send her after her last surgery so I had her taken here for rehab. I had my grandma here once before after surgery and it was a pleasant experience. I didn''t think twice about where to send her after her last surgery so I had her taken here for rehab. I really wish I hadn''t. she received no rehab, even though she was billed for it (fraud, right?) and when her insurance ran out they tossed her to the curb. I got my grandma home and she is in no way shape or form like she was before. I figured she''d need a little help but she can''t do anything now. this 90 year old was someone that helped run a vacuum before her surgery. after her surgery and with the care received here, she cannot clean up after herself let alone wash herself. I should''ve yanked her from this facility when the nurses were talking about using the last of the Jacksonville commerce vouchers to get alcohol (at this point, I wouldn''t be surprised if these vouchers were for the residents to pay for their needs) so they can get drunk. This is the business you wind up with. they throw your loved ones in a corner to fend for themselves. the only time they do anything is when you cannot pay so they kick you to the curb. this used to be someplace 100 times what it is now. I am readying to talk to a lawyer in a few for negligence.
