My brother was at this facility for about three years. He received decent care. Communication was not the best. The staff did make efforts to accommodate my brother’s needs. The medical physician was unavailable and would not communicate with family, even after several requests. This got better when they brought in nurse practitioners, who were quite good with keeping me informed My brother passed away at the facility, I received a call informing me of his death. That was the last we heard from the facility staff. From a basic public relations perspective it would seem advisable to acknowledge a family member’s death who was under their care. It seemed odd to me that upon my brother’s death, that in the minds of the facility’s staff we nor our brother no longer existed and needed no recognition of our loss from them. It was not needed, but to me it seemed odd and rather emotionally cold.

Someone just posted pics off the bruising her grandmother received from 4 staff members forcing her into bed because she wanted to sit in her chair. Totally unacceptable. Also in my line of work I visit people often. The staff seem nice but communication is horrible.
Staff was nice and friendly. great nurses on their skilled unit. They were nice to my father and took great care of him
They have a wonderful skilled unit and the nurses take great care of your loved ones.
