Honeymoon''s over. Before they would cater to all your needs but no problem. Problems that you couldn''t take care of yourself otherwise you would. They act like you''re bothering them when you need help. Except for a few of them I''m not sure why they even working in it a service industry like this. Where you take care of a human being because can''t take care of themselves. Which means one day they''ll be there themselves. There''s a lot more going on than when I''m probably right in here but I just want you all to know that before you pick a whole urgent home for your loved one double check all the information you can about them. The only good thing about this place is their food is excellent. And I mean excellent. They even forgot my dinner I had to ring the bell it''s over an hour late. Good luck with you people glad to give him my minus five but that''s all I can give him is one.

I honestly don''t know how there could be any positive reviews of this place unless they are fake reviews to offset the number of bad reviews, which wouldn''t surprise me at all. I have experience working in a hospital setting and what I saw here and how my loved one was treated was unacceptable. Not to mention the things that we''ve been told by the staff, and the "on call" doctor was horrible and unprofessional. I can go on about the numerous reasons not to send you loved ones here. All we can do is be a voice for our loved ones and make sure that these facilities are held accountable for their actions. I honestly believe that everyone that works at this facility should be a patient for a month, wear a diaper and get verbally abused just to see the level of care that they are providing their own patients. The staff here that aren''t even RN''s, there level of education is very low and you can see it while you are in the facility asking questions. It''s very sad.

Absolutely AMAZING! From KINDHEARTED Crystal -in helping in the admissions and transport process-to J.R. -that COMPASSIONATELY helps with visitation appointments and is the liason for therapeutic rehab needs- they each go ABOVE and BEYOND in trying to accomodate the wishes and needs of both their patients and those family members trying to give their loved ones support!! The nursing staff as well- shows kindness in their craft and conciencious care!The therapists are SO understanding -in helping their patients keep both their dignity and freedom in a trying time!! They are angels to us ALL -for patients and families -and are appreciated from the bottom of my❤ !! I am so very THANK FUL❣❣

The reason for this is that shortly after being released from the Laurels of Bon Air my uncle died. It is heartbreaking to know that we trusted this place with my uncle''s care and that they failed him. I see that recently some people have posted good reviews, but this is real, my uncle lost his life! Please do not put your loved ones here.
Read moreI wouldn’t believe the reviews in regards to cleanliness as they are from when the facility was on lockdown and no one could visit. My father is verbally abused here for not being able to afford out of pocket costs. He is never bathed or taken out of bed.
