Read moreExcellent team, excellent leadership, compassionate and attentive nursing staff, and a therapy team that works miracles. I would recommend JIPA to anybody who needs great post-Acute care. Jared and his team are working hard to make a difference, and it shows.
Had a great experience working with care coordinators. They made me feel confident in their facility.
I’ve met some Excellent people here - caring and attentive. New management and hires are working to keep upgrading and improving. I’ve met Calli and so impressed by how much she cares and works to help residents and the team.

I would have to say that nurse Jackie was one of the nicest nurse to me, always smiling and always happy,. I would also like to say everyone in the occupation therapy and physical therapy should also get around of applause, without them I wouldn''t be able to take care of myself. The house keeping how ever needs work, don''t change the channel on the TV cause they will spray cleaner on your tooth brush and straw to your water. Of course if you do what they say you will be rewarded with cigarettes. And now a special thanks to Stephanie who drove me to Columbia, thank you

I was a patient at Johns island post acute for about 2 months. Because of covid I wasn''t able to lift a limb. So I was scared. At first I was a nervous wreck because of the heartbreaking reviews. (I begged my caseworker for about 2-3 months for me not to get admitted there) But due to some of the lovely staff members I was able to overcome the fears. The P.T staff has gotten me to move my legs and arms again. I''m able to walk with some assistance...my memories are coming around...a few of the cnas and nurses were amazing as well. For me John''s Island was a life saver! People there is NO PERFECT REHAB, but as for me it worked out well,to the point I wanted to stay longer, to be honest there was a few upsetting incidents... told the proper people and they fixed it! the admission counselor fights hard for her patients!!! The physical therapy is OUTSTANDING!!! Yes the food sucks!!! But hey they are trying to fix that too.if GOD forbid something was to happen to me again I would choose johns island post acute!!! and this is coming from my heart we can''t always focus on the negative, when there is a lot of positive things that happen also!!!! All I can say is thank you all for helping me get to where I am now!!!!
