My mom moved into Harmony Assisted Living. It's a small facility. They have a wonderful staff. It's a very nice house. My mother seems to be very comfortable, and they take good care of her. We are very pleased with it.

Harmony Assisted Living seemed to have good people. Amy was very informative. I like the small group because it's only six in the home, so there's more personal care, and it was immaculate. The home was immaculate. They're more assisted living and they do memory care. I went in while they were cooking dinner, and so I watched the staff fixing up the salmon for the ladies. It's an all-women home. So I was watching them cook, and they were doing everything I would do. A young girl walked me through, and she was very thorough. She took me through and showed me the stuff I needed to see. When I was walking around, everywhere was clean. I didn't try their food, but it looked good. The facility is small, and they've got it under control. This is more like a one-on-one type situation because of the small situation.

This facility was a Blessing for my mother who lived there..I cannot express how wonderful the staff is and how well managed it is.. I would highly recommend this facility for those in need..Special Thanks to all ! The activities are wonderful walks games crafts..The house was always impeccable…the meals were cooked daily breakfast lunch dinner…The staff addresses any concerns you may have in a timely manner they were great … If you have a lives one who requires 24 hour care this is by far a better facility than any nursing home… They get one on one care their needs are responded to in a timely manner. It is very much a family oriented atmosphere !! I myself would definitely want to be in a home environment like this in my aging years !

When I got to Harmony Assisted Living, the residents were in activities with the caregivers. So, that was good to see. They were playing card games while some of them were watching television or just doing other activities. The person who gave the tour was a few minutes late. The one thing I didn't care about the facility, is they don't have a structured mealtime. My mom has dementia and so she needs to have certain times to eat. The rooms were kind of smallish and kind of dark. They said they had had different bedding and different things that they usually use, but they had yet to fix it up. The house was on a small lot, so your neighbors were close and there weren't a lot of trees or yard space. The positive side was the caregivers were super engaged with the residents.
