Having a loved one as a resident at Harbor Point of Centerville for 18 months was a heartwarming experience. The TLC that was given to John by the staff and even other visitors was amazing!! The attention to detail for John''s comfort made it possible for me to relax a bit, unlike other similar facilities that John had resided at over the past years. I''m so grateful to the AMAZING Kate Fontana and her staff!! Thank you and God Bless you all.

My Mark has Alzheimer’s and went to the day program that Harbor Point has. He went for 10 months. He went 4 days a week Monday -Thursday. (The program is available 5 days a week 5 hours a day Sunday - Thursday). Keeping Mark social, which Harbor Point focuses on, was instrumental in I believe slowing the decline. It was so well run! Mark would usually go on the outings that are scheduled twice a week. They always kept the clients as active as possible. ❤️ Harbor Point staff all seem to enjoy what they do. Thank you all for your time and professionalism with Mark. ❤️

I went to Harbor Point at Centerville yesterday. It's only the third community that I have toured, and honestly, it was very consistent with the others. But I saw a lot more on this particular tour, and I did get to see some of the people living there who are Alzheimer's patients as well as dementia. They looked like they were in a good place, and that means a lot. I think they understand what I'm dealing with, and they have the resources to give my wife the proper care should I decide to go there. The staff was very knowledgeable. She wanted to hear first what my story was. I think it's an effort to see how my wife will fit there, and she was very informative on the tour. It was a very productive experience. The rooms in this particular property were among the nicest I've seen. What was available was done very well, in particular, the bathrooms I can tell the bathrooms were designed the way they were because some people are going to be in a wheelchair or walker, and they need more space to move around. So the bathrooms were a little larger than they probably need to be. It looked very well maintained, very clean. I have no issues there. We talked about food, they didn't have menus for the residents, they showed plated food. For example, one option is fish, and another option is chicken. They will show them a plated dish of each one of those to help them decide. That's a better option than menus because everything has to be visual for them and some of them, because of their condition, have difficulty reading.
