There is usually an odor in the hallway and in our loved ones room... there has been misplaced and lost medication causing me to have to buy more... some of the care givers don't care and won't help our visually impaired loved one with navigating the facility, they just tell our loved one to hold the rail. Things have gotten slightly better on the care side but cleanliness still a challenge

We toured Pine Grove Senior Living. It was very clean and very nice. The staff was very nice and very dependable. They had a gym, a nice lawn, and an activity room. There were a few restaurants up the street from this facility and a hospital nearby.

1. Rate went up $550 two months after moving in. Was not pleased with not being given a heads up about that. 2. We've had to clean my mother-in-law's room ourselves. The facility does not do that daily or even as needed. 3. Most of the caregivers have been really friendly. The office staff not ...

1. Rate went up $550 two months after moving in. Was not pleased with not being given a heads up about that. 2. We've had to clean my mother-in-law's room ourselves. The facility does not do that daily or even as needed. 3. Most of the caregivers have been really friendly. The office staff not nearly as much. 4. We've been satisfied so far with the care my mother-in-law has received. 5. She's lost 12 pounds in the almost 4 months she's been there. Says the food is not good. But she can be hard to please. 6. Wish the facility would have more outside activities. 7. Considering the rent went up $550 within two months of moving in, we would have made other arrangements elsewhere had we been given notice of that.

If you need a good, friendly, people-oriented place, Pine Grove is the place to come to. The food is great. They have plenty of activities. You an go in and out any time you want to on the property. One of my greatest pleasures is going outside to eat and watching the geese. Everything here is ...

If you need a good, friendly, people-oriented place, Pine Grove is the place to come to. The food is great. They have plenty of activities. You an go in and out any time you want to on the property. One of my greatest pleasures is going outside to eat and watching the geese. Everything here is excellent, especially compared to where I was at previously. They have snacks for us three times a day. They always have the hydration station stocked 24/7 with coffee and fruit-flavored waters. There's a big fruit bowl. After dinner, they set up a big tray full of snacks you can access anytime. They post the menus for lunch dinner. Breakfast is always the same. But they'll make anything you ask for if you don't like what's on the menu that day. Everybody here knows your name quickly. All the staff -management, caregivers, maintenance - all know me. We're currently in the process of a change in director. The new director is here in training, and she's very friendly. I would recommend Pine Grove to anyone looking in the area.
