From The Community
My granddaughter calls the grand Bubbie S hotel For a good reason. Coming to the grand for rehab is like staying in a beautiful luxury hotel with private rooms, rooms arranged around small dining areas and living rooms for every 11 or 12 rooms. With 3 delicious meals a day, a movie theater, happy hour and ice cream socials weekly. Actually though the best asset of the grand are the people. The skills, work ethic and especially the personalities of everyone who works there made my stay so enjoyable. I didn T want to leave. The therapist are very knowledgeable and afterwards you get rewarded with the decompression room where you site in a recliner with ice therapy and compression while you drink some juice and watch tv. My favorite room was the library. Books, card games and puzzles in an inviting environment passed the time.

My mom just moved to the Grand 2 weeks ago. Everyone we have encountered has been very helpful and kind. Alicia (admissions associate) was wonderful from the minute she gave us a tour - very responsive- checking in with me to see how all was going- and checking in with my mom several days in to make sure she was doing well. So friendly and very helpful!! We are also VERY pleased with physical, occupational and speech therapy. And the nurses and aides have been great. The faculty is very clean and bright with lots of character. We are off to a great start and grateful for the care of our mom.

My mom had a stroke and needed lots of care to rehab fully and make it back home. As her son, it was paramount that I find a place with the full range of therapy services, a clean and maintained environment, kind and caring staff, and proper nutrition to aid in healing. The Grand of Dublin ticked all the boxes and went above and beyond to ensure my mom had everything she needed to rehab her mind and body!! I have worked in a skilled nursing and rehab facility in my career, so I know what proper care looks like. At The Grand, it was on display every single day! The staff was friendly, professional, and always kept me updated on her progress. My mom walked out there on her last day a new person, ready to get back to her life and spend time with me and her granddaughter. I would recommend The Grand without reservation to anyone looking to recovery from a stroke or any kind of medical condition requiring rehabilitation.

My mom is currently a patient at the Grand of Dublin. The care and support she has been receiving is wonderful. The therapist that work with my mom have been impeccable and highly trained.( OT , PT and Speech Therapist). She has improved remarkably in the small amount of time that she has been a resident at the Grand. They have communicated and worked directly with my mom’s team of doctors at The James . This communication and team effort has made my mom’s healing so effective. The Grands team approach is one of their strongest assets. Nursing, social workers, administration, activity director, dietary and therapist all work together to provide the care needed to help my mom become independent. The Grand has been a great fit for mom. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do.

We looked at about 20+ facilities in 1999 for our Mom and hands down this facility was thee nicest. She was in the Memory Care unit for 4 years here then moved to long term care unit before her passing in Apr of this year. She was well taken care of during her stay. Our family really liked the facility and the care offered here. When our brother needed care, it was the first place we thought of. We were excited when he was able to come here as well in the same unit just a few days ago.

There is an ice cream shop and a little pub. It is just like a little village. The staff is very attentive. They're always checking out on her and making sure everything's OK.
