The staff in this facility are dedicated to make sure each individual is taken care of with care and love. The administrator made sure to introduce himself and reassure if anything was needed he would make sure it got done. After visiting, I was confident the care in this facility was going to be great. If you are looking for placemat for a family member, I highly recommend this facility and I am confident you will have the same positive experience I did.

where to begin… Mom arrives Last week of February from the hospital and develops pneumonia and is stuck at the hospital. Staff informs me my mom was given the Pneumonia shot and was suppose to be given flu and RSV Vaccine. Come to find out it’s three weeks in and it was the flu shot they gave her and not the pneumonia. No big deal, but what happened to her other shots? Not given? She goes in with Wound and is diabetic, like of the ricter scale needs to be tested three times at least. Find out they do finger sticks twice a week. Hospital was given her insulin through the day, not at the Grand. They said there was no notes from the hospital to them for her care give her nighttime insulin. Mom has medline installed, antibiotics course finished and wound care doctors still can’t remove the line. Nurse Tells me the wound is heal but they flush the line. I give them one weeks notice I am picking her up after the inconsistent follow ups. The lady’s gets discharged and comes home with a single stitch in foot! Not removed, but the wound care doctor is seeing this and doesn’t remove it. Nurse arrives after mom’s home for a couple days. Sees the stitch and goes why was she discharged with this if she was being cared for at the nursing home. I go I don’t know. They never informed me it was there to begin with. I called to have them remove the stitch and get delayed with stupid traffic and but doctor needs to leave. Decide to take her urgent care. Nurse is baffled as to why this is left on? Mom doesn’t eat beef or pork… they decide to give her ground beef…like it’s clear as day she doesn’t eat beef because I spoke with the dietitian, yet to my sisters very eyes served food she’s not suppose to eat. As much as the facility looks great…the phone can ring out at times and the admins doesn’t know whose working. She had better care at Stein than this place.

I appreciate all the staff at the grand; in particular Raven, Natalie, The second floor unit manager Marie; Venice and Marie also on that floor and Morose especially her matching outfits. Ryan and Esther also very kind.
A lot of very caring staff that provide exceptional care! Facility is always clean and friendly! I would highly recommend to anyone who is in need of a skilled nursing or rehab center.
I cannot thank them enough for the exceptional care and devotion to my grandparents!!! 5 stars for the accommodations and the staff! After being to many other facilities and losing hope for any nursing home I finally found a place that is just fantastic! I especially want to thank the administrator ...
