I love this facility! When I first signed up to work 11-7am with my agency I was skeptical because of all the bad ratings. As soon as I got to the facility they took me in a room and tested me for covid. So the first 30 minutes I was in the facility it was just making sure I was clear, so that their residents can be safe. Then they showed me around and told me I can get comfortable ( get some coffee or whatever I wanted to drink, put my stuff away etc.) My patner was very nice and helpful. The work was easy and not overwhelming. Although the residents were challenging to work with I was able to concentrate with each one of them. I signed up for one shift only, but ended up doing a double like I usually do. Besides the work being fair and the staff being very nice the pay is the best out of many places I had worked. I have work all over Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida and I have not yet found a place that appreciate the employees as much as this place does. Thank you for appreciating us and our work.... For the families, your family are being cared for, nothing to worry about.

My hubby and I just did a DJ service filled with sing along, dancing around with the residents and interactions. The staff were nice and lined up in front of the residents with my hubby and I and the did YMCA dance. There was cheering, the residents can sing. They were happy to have something to look forward to and we were honored to serve Good Shepherd. Tom and his child hood friend Sheryl of 40 yrs ago a long wait, lost contact and reunited by chance/ divine actually since Tom prayed that God would let him find her and hug her again. He saw her at Good Shepherd, not knowing she was there. Heard her voice and asked.. are you married (3x''s he asked to be sure) she said no and will be engaged in 2wks. Stories like this are so beautiful. And remind me of the beauty of those that went before us and still believe in love. Thanks Good Shepherd for having my hubby DJ Noy and I. Hope to come back again.
