Staff is nice, polite and attentive. Facility is near and clean and my sister is well taken care of. Very compassionate service!

The absolute worst place to send your loved ones! My father was sent there for rehabilitation. He received none. He was sent there by the hospital and it was during the pandemic so our visitation was zero. I was finally able to visit thru a window snd was shocked to see that they had shaved his head!!! No explanation just did it. We were finally able to move him to a very nice reputable place where he was cared for with dignity. But the lack of care snd the abuse he indured during his time at Fresno nursing had broken his spirit snd he passed shortly after moving him. I will never forgive this horrible place for abusing my father so badly. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!
Read moreThe Therapy staff, nursing and supportive staff are so very kind when dealing with patients or visitors. Positive environment. The courtyard is a mood lifter for patients too.
Friendly staff
By far the worst place I have worked at. Considering I work in numerous facilities this one is by far the worst! Patients constantly complain about their administrator never being seen always in the office. Complaints of the CNA’s. Directors dating CNA’s. You can always find some of the director...
By far the worst place I have worked at. Considering I work in numerous facilities this one is by far the worst! Patients constantly complain about their administrator never being seen always in the office. Complaints of the CNA’s. Directors dating CNA’s. You can always find some of the directors huddled outside under a tree smoking. It smells bad. One time the building was so hot the hallway thermometer read 82 degrees. I would never return or consider this place for anyone to place their loved one.

I worked at this Facility from 2001 to 2008 when it was called Hillcrest Healthcare, owned & operated by Beverly Enterprises, which was based in Arkansas. By the time I left here in 2008, it was called Golden Living Center Hillcrest, run by Golden Ventures. It then went to Dycora then it’s current name. I remember it was smaller then most facilities, with one nurses station and 65 beds. I worked nights for 7 years. I think this place was build in the 1940’s. Most of the staff worked there much longer then I did. Sandra worked there almost 30 years, Maria worked 30 or 35 years. The staff were awesome when I worked there, like family. It was a great job. I hate to admit it, but this place was so HAUNTED. I am sure every nursing home & hospital in Fresno is. Three of the RN’s I worked with passed away. Most of the people I worked with 20 years ago either retired, continued their education, and moved on. I knew Diana really well, she was one of my friends mom growing up. I also attended a graduation here in 1994 for my friend’s mom, Rhonda. I learned so much about caregiving as a CNA here, skills I used to work in other places. If you want a steady job, get your CNA, work here. People may say awful things about this place, but honestly, the very people who complain have no idea what they are doing, if they know so much, then why would their family need 24 hour care? Let the nurses do their jobs. The nurses have better things to do instead of listening to constant nagging.
