The staff at Riverside were amazing. They treated my mother with dignity and respect. They provided excellent health/medical care. They are caring and kind. Professional and knowledgeable. Additionally, they treated me - the patient’s daughter - with kindness and compassion. They helped me navigate a very stressful and difficult situation. They provided health and financial guidance, as well as, emotional support. They treated me like family. The staff became family during my mothers stay. I can never thank them enough for their care, kindness, and compassion.

DON’T believe everything you hear about skilled nursing facilities! I have heard all the horror stories. I researched, talked to friends and read reviews. Then I talked with a nurse, and she said if I was going to take my dad to a skilled nursing facility it would 100% be riverside. She said that she had worked with several people employed at riverside over the years and they were some of the best at what they do. I’ve never been in this position in my life, making decisions for my dad that could have major impact on him and the future outcome. The bad reviews, negative comments from people were WRONG! This place was a huge blessing in one of the scariest times of our life. From the very first phone call I knew I had made the right decision. Thea was my very first contact and she is an angel on earth, literally will do anything to help you personally and through the medical process. I cried to her, talked with anger and she hugged me and prayed for me. I will love her forever! Dads nurses, lpn’s and cna’s took my dads medical and personal needs to heart. They would leave notes in his room for us to find in the mornings, combed his hair the way he liked, and always made sure to put his eyeglasses on him first thing because he would forget he needed them. Even the maintenance and cleaning people became like friends! The day he was released to in home hospice care several had tears in their eyes. THATS COMPASSION! I had many calls emails and texts from several checking on him once we were home. Cristee, the director, and Tammy, assistant director, went above and beyond for my dad! Thea and Cristee have even helped me navigate issues 2 months after dad was released, AMAZING! The facility is nice but it’s the people that made our experience better than I ever thought it could be. Special shout out to Josh Sears for his help, the social workers that helped me navigate, Tom and Julie and the whole therapy/rehab team for your hard work and Cassidy Cutlip for ‘dumbing’ things down for me so I understood medical lingo, helped me stay strong and always always having a bright smile. I actually feel I made friends at Riverside and hope to stop and visit regularly once life slows down a little. Thank you, every single one of you… and my dad Ray would thank you too ❤️

Many thanks to the staff at Riverside for the care, dignity and respect given to my sister during her 10 months stay at the facility. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond and address our concerns promptly.
