I visited Rolling Meadows Place, and I got to tour the whole facility. I saw two apartments. One was basically like a hotel room and the other one was like a studio apartment. It had a little kitchenette, a sitting room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. They offered church services, outings, and shopping on certain days of the week. They had other activities like sewing, quilting, and they took them to a gym facility. They have a little gym there, but they took them to a bigger gym for swimming or something. They had an outdoor area and garden areas where they could plant flowers or vegetables.

The tour I had at English Meadows Teays Valley was absolutely fantastic. We really liked it. It was top of the list. We were happy with the tour. I felt like I had stepped into a five-star hotel. The rooms looked comfortable and clean. Everything was very clean and smelled clean. I was very impressed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It felt very comfortable and very relaxed. It just felt like you were going to visit somebody and it felt like a home. If I choose somewhere to put my spouse, it would be there. This was my first choice. I can't say enough about it.

The staff is wonderful. They're great at responding when you need something. The cook has bent over backwards to help my mom and fix her things she likes. She complains about the housekeeping and thinks they don't do enough, but the level of cleanliness seems about the same as it was in her house when she lived on her own. She also complains that they pick up her laundry on Sunday night at 9 pm, which is late for her. But ultimately, they do everything they can to please her, and I think it's a lovely facility. I don't really have any criticism of them myself.

This is a very nice place to stay. They are currently however, short staffed. The staff that are there communicate well and they are very friendly. They have activities at this community like care services, they have card games and more for the residents to stay active and busy in this community. This is a great place and it is very clean but it is short staffed it and this cases a little bit of a care problem.
Read moreWe had a very good experience with Rolling Meadows Place. The facility is nice and clean. The care was fine, although I think they're understaffed. There were times I couldn't get ahold of anybody. And one time when I called, a resident answered the phone because it was ringing so many times.
