Avoid this facility at all cost. I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to be “treated” by this facility. The social worker Katherine and some of the physical therapy staff seem okay. The nursing staff is another story. It’s been nothing but misery. Didn’t discharge with insulin on a Saturday disc...
Avoid this facility at all cost. I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to be “treated” by this facility. The social worker Katherine and some of the physical therapy staff seem okay. The nursing staff is another story. It’s been nothing but misery. Didn’t discharge with insulin on a Saturday discharge. Had to go back to get it. They didn’t include the applicator tips so couldn’t administer the insulin. Told us to get it over the counter, they don’t sell those things over the counter. We cobbled together needles to keep my FIL until we could get his refills. Went to the pharmacy for refills, it’s Wednesday and they hadn’t even called them in. Saturday discharge and had to call today a Wednesday to tell them to call his prescriptions in. Just an absolute joke. The food was also atrocious.

My Dad went to Glasgow after He lost ability to walk and with dementia and other health complications we could not care for him at home. Was such a relief how he was taken care of. He was cared for so very well, especially during most difficult time of COVID and quarantine. I will never forget how well the Staff cared and loved Him, just like Family. Really made very difficult time for all a lot more bearable. Thank You Kathryn for always being so helpful with everything. Forever Grateful and Thankful For You All

My 83 year-old dad, was falling at home and went to this facility for 24/7 care, support and rehab for a 30 day stay. He received wonderful care!! All of the staff have been great to him and our family during visits. I am a nurse, so I look for things and pay attention to activities that not everyone might think of. I was pleasantly surprised. I watched the staff engage with the residents and they treated them like they would their own family. The entire center is decorated for Christmas - even the resident''s room doors have candy cane wreaths. If I asked for an extra blanket for dad or chairs for more family visiting, they went and got it for us. It is an older building, but clean which is the most important thing. They have activities for the residents and some which include the family. I highly recommend Glasgow Health and Rehab and know if my dad needs help again in the future, this is our first choice!
